AAIC 2020: a leading specialist’s highlights

A leading specialist has selected his highlights from the virtual AAIC meeting. Dr José Luís Molinuevo, Scientific Director of the Alzheimer Prevention Program at the BarcelonaBeta Brain Research Center, in Barcelona, Spain, and a member of the AAIC Scientific Program Committee, identified three studies for Neurodiem that are promising in terms of their implications for research and clinical practice.

The first study, by den Braber, et al, investigated the predictive value of plasma amyloid-β1-42/1-40 and glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) for amyloid pathology in 151 cognitively unimpaired subjects, using plasma samples collected 10 years before CSF/PET amyloid assessment.
