Researchers from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Victor Babeş Timisoara, Romania have performed a study to investigate the effect of the combination of atrial fibrillation (AF) with hypertension on cognitive decline. Compared with patients with hypertension but no AF, the presence of AF is associated with faster cognitive decline.
